Taiwanese travelling to China must allow one week to process the visa endorsement. Even urgent cases will take 3 days to process. However, if the passenger needs to be in China before his visa is approved, how can this situation be resolved?

The majority of Air Macau's passengers are Taiwanese travelling across the Straits. Through Air Macau's close cooperation with China Travel Service (CTS), a Visa Endorsement service is provided especially for Taiwanese travelling to China on Taiwan Compatriot passport.

In Taiwan, before check-in, the passenger should complete the required visa application form and authorization letter and hand these two documents to Air Macau counter staff to handle the visa application. (Remark: This service is available only before 4:30 p.m. (local time) as informed by Macau CTS).

How does Air Macau handle the visa application within 2 hours? As soon as we receive the passenger's visa application form and authorization letter, we will fax these two documents to CTS in Macau to enable them to verify the details and process the visa application. Once the passenger has landed in Macau, we will collect the passenger's Compatriot passport from the arrival gate and deliver it to CTS to issue the visa endorsement. After that, the Compatriot passport with visa endorsement will be returned to the passenger at the boarding gate for his onward connection to China. This service provides a hassle-free arrangement for Taiwan Compatriot passport holders travelling to China.
