“VLD ON FLT/DATE SHOWN ONLY” means
the ticket is valid on the designated flight number and date shown
only. This remark normally appears on group travel tickets. If a
ticket does not reflect the words “VLD ON FLT/DATE SHOWN ONLY” this
means that the passenger can change his flight and date for the
same sector.
In circumstances where the date can be changed, restrictions
may be imposed on certain flights, for example, some evening flight
fares may be comparatively cheaper than the morning flights and
in this case, certain restrictions may be imposed. This type of
ticket will permit the passenger to change the date but not the
flight number. The ticket sample above indicates the words “EX-TPE-VLD-ON-NX615-ONLY”
this means that the ticket is valid for the passenger to travel
on NX615 flight only outbound from TPE.
