The total mileage credits required for multiple-sectors award tickets or open jaw award tickets is the sum of mileage credits in one way standard of all sectors in the itinerary. For example, award ticket of Macau ”X Shanghai // NanJing ”X Macau or Taipei ”X Macau ”X KaoHsiung in economy class requires 24,000.

Members must hold a valid ticket before they redeem upgrade. Award tickets, discount tickets, group tickets, charter tickets and barter tickets are not permitted to redeem upgrade. Only tickets with elite mileage accrual ratio 50% or over are eligible for redeeming upgrade.
Redemption
1. Members acknowledge that Air Macau reserves the right to limit the number of seats made available for redemption at its absolute discretion. Redemption will be issued only after a reservation is confirmed. Waitlisted flights for redemption are not permitted.
2. Members are eligible for redemption only when they clearly indicate the flight route / number / date / booking class when making a reservation for the flight desired. Open-dated tickets are not permitted for redemption.
3. Redemption can be transferred to anyone.
4. Redemptions are valid for 1 year from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified. Once redemptions are issued, they are non-endorsable, non-reroutable, non-transferable and mileage non-refundable and void once overdue or lost
5. The issuance of tickets for redemption is subject to the passenger being responsible for applicable departure taxes, airport or government handling fees, fuel surcharges and any other fees arising in relation to the use of redemption.
6. All mileage credits required for redemption must be earned by the same member under the same account and pooling of mileage credits is not permitted.
7. Infants under the age of 2 years and children under the age of 12 years share the same rules of redemption with adults.
8. Redemption will not accept special requests incurred by unaccompanied child, diseased or injured passenger, blind or deaf person, pregnant woman (over 8 months), handicapped person, prisoner, stretcher case etc.
How to redeem*
Online redemption
Members can redeem online with membership number and password to login their accounts. After verifying that there are sufficient mileage credits for redemption and seats available, he /she needs to pay for all relevant taxes and fees online by credit card to complete the redemption. Members can only redeem award tickets online.
Town office redemption
Members can process redemption in our town office with presentation of membership cards and identity cards. After verifying that there are sufficient mileage credits for redemption and seats available, he /she needs to key in password (6 digits) and pay for all relevant taxes and fees to complete the redemption. Members under 12 years of age are not eligible to redeem online. They must be accompanied by their parental or legal guardian or authorize a third person with presentation of membership card, identity cards and certificate of relationship.
Redemption authorization If members can not collect redemption awards in person, they can authorize a third person who must present original identification document by himself, the copied identification for members, key in password and pay for all relevant taxes and fees; In the case of redemption transfer, they can authorize a third person who must present original identification document by himself, the copied identification document of the other related person must be shown as well.
