Actual mileage means the mileage which is based on the actual distance traveled between origin and destination (TPM) published by IATA
Elite Mileage means the mileage which is counted towards membership upgrade / renewal and only be
earned for travel on eligible flights according to the booking class purchased. Travel in economy class and business class is warded 50%, 100% and 130% of actual mileage respectively.
Bonus Mileage
means the mileage which is rewarded to members under a special promotion.
Promotional Mileage
means the mileage which is rewarded to members in flight activities.
Partner Mileage: means the mileage which is rewarded by Privileges airline and non-airline partners.
*Mileage credits are valid until the end of the third year (At most 36 months). Mileage credits should be redeemed for awards within validity, otherwise they will be expired. For example, the mileage credits you¡¦ve accrued in 2008 will be valid until 31 December 2010.
Elite Sector means a single eligible flight sector between 2 destinations which can be counted towards memebership upgrade / renewal.
How to earn mileage credits
Mileage is credited only after you actually travel. Award tickets, discount tickets, group tickets, charter tickets and barter tickets are not applicable for mileage accrual.
Automatic Mileage Credits To earn mileage credits, members must quote their membership number at time of reservation and present their membership card at time of check-in, when paying the bill or upon delivery of partner products or services. Mileage credits may take 14 days after travel to be credited to accounts. Members are recommended to retain their tickets, boarding passes and receipts up to 6 months or until mileage credits have appeared in their membership accounts correctly. In order to be eligible for mileage credits, members must make sure that the name used in a transaction especially when printed on airline tickets, exactly matches the name as registered with Privileges.
Retroactive Mileage Credits
Members should allow 14 days for miles earned on Air Macau flights to appear in their account before raising a claim for missing miles. In the event miles do not appear in his / her account, the member may request that the miles be retroactively credited up to 6 months following the flight concerned.
Claims submitted online may be resolved immediately if all required information submitted are correct and match those on record and in system.
Members should mail or fax their tickets and boarding passes as documentation with notice of their membership number to Privileges on retroactive request.

Mileage Credits
1. Miles are the base units of measurement in Privileges.
2. Mileage is credited only after you actually travel. In the case of voluntary itinerary abandonment, no mileage credits will be permitted.
3. The member is not permitted to transfer mileages to any other member¡¦s account in any circumstances.
4. Miles can only be earned once per flight for each person.
5. Children under the age of 12 years share the same rules of mileage credits with adults.
