Air Macau is going to launch scheduled services between Macau and Fukuoka, Japan starting 28th March, 2016. On 10th March, Mr Du Guofu, Vice President of Air Macau led a delegate to visit Fukuoka and a product seminar was held in Fukuoka to introduce the carrier’s newly launched Fukuoka-Macau route and to promote Macau products. Air Macau aims to attract diversified passengers by strengthening the cooperation with local travel industry partners and media in Japan.
Mr Du expressed the wishes in the seminar of attracting more Japanese tourists experience the fascinating Macau via Air Macau’s safe, convenient and comfortable services.
Japan is the fifth biggest inbound tourist market of Macau. In 2015, over 280,000 Japanese tourists visited Macau. Air Macau is eager to promote Macau’s tourism image and attract more Japanese tourists to Macau through the event held in Fukuoka.
Distinguished guests from Fukuoka Prefectural Government, Consulate-general of the People’s Republic of China in Fukuoka, Fukuoka Airport, Marketing Representative of Macau Government Tourism Office in Japan, Macau hotel industry partners, and local travel agencies, etc. attended the seminar.
